Description

All bills paid private studio apartment with private entrance within a home with 3 other units occupied by owners, owners' sister and one other tenant. All units are private. The home is across the street from Galveston Bay. We are about 2 miles to the Kemah Boardwalk, Walmart, Target, several grocery stores and many restaurants. It is in an eclectic neighborhood with multi-million-dollar homes and more modest homes. There is on-site parking. There is a pool and spa to use in summer months. Neither are heated. The outdoor screened room and patio are available to all occupants of the house. Smoking is allowed in the screened room only. Unit comes with a mini split to control the guest's own AC and heat. There is a whole house generator in case of outages. There is an excellent DirecTV package, smart TV and 1250+ Mbps wifi with access point in unit. The main room has a Queen bed, reclining chair with ottoman, walk-in closet with chest, black out curtains and small dinette that can be used as a desk. If a larger desk is needed there is a folding table with adjustable legs in the closet. The kitchen includes a full refrigerator/freezer, 4 burner glass stove top, convection/microwave, toaster oven with all cooking and dining utensils. There is no dishwasher. The bathroom has a corner stand up shower. There is a washer/dryer on the premise that is available to guest. There are security
cameras outside on both sides of the house. Entrance is through the garage with a keypad on the door.

We are halfway between Houston and Galveston with all both cities have to offer. We are 20-30 minutes from Galveston and 40-60 minutes from various places in Houston.

Many hospitals are within 10 miles: HCA Mainland, HCA Clear Lake, Houston Methodist Clear Lake, UTMB League City, UTMB Clear Lake, Memorial Hermann League City, Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, Kindred Hospital Clear Lake, Houston's Physician's Hospital.

Universities nearby: College of the Mainland, Alvin Community College, University of Houston, Lee College, San Jacinto Jr. College. Further into Houston is Rice University, St. Thomas University, Texas Southern University

We are close to Texas City, League City, Webster, LaPorte, Pasadena and Baytown with many oil, chemical and other industrial plants.
